Rooms Against Covid

While many have the privilege to self-quarantine and isolate themselves, healthcare professionals continue to put their lives on the line to protect us. We cannot stop COVID-19 without first looking after our valued healthcare heroes who continue to tackle this pandemic head-on. This is why GuestCentric and Hijiffy have partnered in the launch of the Rooms Against Covid project, which will support healthcare professionals with convenient access to cost-effective accommodation during this pandemic. The Rooms Against Covid partnership is central to the wider Tech4Covid19 initiative, launched by 120 different tech startups and companies in less than 48h. The team of 600 professionals has mobilized under one common goal: to unite in the development of technological solutions that help the population to overcome the challenge of COVID-19. Partnership with Just a Change

Our company wants to contribute to improving the lives of underprivileged people around us and for this reason during office time hours, our staff have the possibility to join this cause. Our employees are helping rehabilitate houses without roofs, windows, doors and where there is no hot water or electricity. We believe that this brings people together and also has a direct impact on reducing poverty.

Regular Donations

Our social action also involves helping as much as we can with donations those in need in our community.  Through a local association, we make donations of our company technological products and also essential goods, clothing, toys brought by our employees. In our office in Lisbon we have a space reserved for all Guestcentric employees to bring everything they want to donate and later those are delivered by company volunteers to the association of our choice. The entire company is involved in this process and an it's important for our well being and the well being of others.

Helping the Environment

In recent years, climate changes have been shaping our world in several ways, affecting entire ecosystems throughout the globe.  Acting in the Travel Industry, one of the most driven industries in the world, we wanted to do our part in the process by putting the same passion and effort which we take pride in every day, by tackling this huge challenge and pave the way for a present and future sustainability of this amazing world we live in.

But with so many areas with potential, how could we make a tangible and immediate difference? Well with such an amazing coastline in our HQ’s location, why not get started by one of the areas which are most affected by tourism? Every single year, sea pollution has shown to be a huge concern with its impact in the local marine eco-ecosystems and, having the sea providing us with so much in our life, we felt that this was the perfect time to show our gratification to sea and clean its extraordinary sand shores.

Not only do we have the chance to get some amazing team gatherings, but we also show our gratitude to Nature for what it provides us every day!

And this is only the start.
